FR is an acronym for Flame Retardant and is what all our fabrics adhere to. There are various qualities of Flame Retardancy and you can find out more here. If you require a non-Flame Retardant fabric, please call our sales team and we will more than likely be able to help. |

Yes, in most situations where fabrics are to be used in Public places, they are required to comply with the BS5867 part 2 B (Fabrics to be used as curtains or Drapes) regulation. |

Unfortunately there is no general certificate as laws regarding fire safety change from country to country. |

It may be that your local Fire Authority stipulates that all fabrics used in their locality should be DFR. It is always wise to check with your local fire officer before starting a project. |

Hard question to answer as there is no way of telling unless you have them tested and then you have a rather large burn mark on your drapes. The method that generally satisfies fire officers, local authorities etc is the production of an up to date fire cert that can be directly matched to the drapes you have hanging, failure to do so has been known to result in closure of venues. |

Although colour and fabric are a personal choice the "norm" would be to have your FOH drapes manufactured from Velour and your onstage blacks being manufactured from Black Wool Serge. |

All our fabrics comply to the British Standard BS5867 part 2 B which is accepted in most places around the world, but if you are planning to use the fabrics in some parts of Europe let us know as we have fabrics which comply to both French M1 and German B1 standards too. |

We have a small range of floor coverings, the most popular of which is our Joelmat (which you can also get in Black High Gloss). We also offer an Exhibition-quality corded carpet. However, we can always help with almost any requirement. |
Installation

Halls T60 and T70 are steel fabricated tracks as is Triple E's Unitrack, Unicyc, E Rail, 2 Way, 3Way and Unibeam are manufactured from an aluminium extrusion. |

Either from the eye of the runner to the floor or from the underside of the track to the floor, allowances will need to be made for finished drape height. |
