Harrogate’s Royal Hall is a stunning Edwardian Theatre built in 1903 and is another Frank Matcham theatre restoration project undertaken by J&C Joel Limited. Recently restored to its original magnificence, the Royal Hall is the only surviving Kursaal in the UK.

J&C Joel designed manufactured and and installed a complete acoustic system solution for the BBC Hoddinott Hall, part of Cardiff's Welsh Mil;ennui Centre complex and home of the N atonal Orchestra of Wales.>

The project included the installation of specifically engineered acoustic duvets, pilewind winch units and motorised track and acoustic drape systems.

J&C Joel supplied and installed stage machinery and drapes to the new Quarterhouse Arts and Business Centre in Folkestone, UK. The project consists of a rolling beam system, chain hoists, stage tracks, drapes and ancillary items.

Pop sensation Mika opened the show at the Brit Awards 2008 at Earls Court in London with a little help from J&C Joel who manufactured a polyester Trevira reefer stage curtain for his performance.

The Brits are UK music industry's premier awards show and featured performances by some of the biggest names in music, such as Amy Winehouse and Sir Paul McCartney.
