J&C Joel provided drapery solutions for the Hull University Union Awards; an annual event which rewards and celebrates the efforts and achievements of students who volunteer for the charity.
For the award ceremony, J&C Joel manufactured three purple Polyester Trevira (PT017) curtains, two with a width of 6.9m and a third measuring 7.2m wide. The curtains all had a drop of 0.8m and were applied around the skirting of the dance floor stage.
J&C Joel also manufactured four white Voile (VOI001) curtains, all of which measured 3m wide with a 5.25m drop. The curtains were hung on either side of the projection screen on the stage and were bathed in pink and purple lighting to match the colour theme of the events.
Over 105m of white Voile was supplied by J&C Joel and installed as a decorative, swagged ceiling drape.
The many flowing metres of Voile twinned with the bright and colourful lights ensured a cool and classy atmosphere for this year’s Hull University Union Awards.
