J&C Joel partnered with leading moving head and digital lighting company ROBE for their PLASA trade show stand.
Renowned for their spectacular stands, ROBE raised the bar yet again with an incredibly life like piazza inside the ExCel arena. Visitors were immediately transported out of the show and a specious piazza complete with clock tower, street lights, a bar/café and even an ice cream stand. Interwoven in to the ROBE space were demo areas for their products and some of their associated brands.
J&C Joel manufactured and installed over 700m2 of full colour digitally printed perimeter drapes (PRT001) finished with webbing and ties for easy rigging and de-rigging and a conduit pocket to ensure all drapes were properly tensioned when hung. A DMX controllable motorised track was also installed which revealed on cue a spectacular rock and roll light show which was run on thehour throughout the show. The light show attracted huge numbers of visitors and once over, the curtains closed and the serenity of the piazza returned.
In addition, J&C Joel also supplied over 400m2 of digitally printed “cobbled” Joelmat (JMP001) to complete the ultra-realistic look of the stand. To complete the stand, J&C Joel also provided over 700m2 of premier wool serge (WS090) masking drapes and two large cyclorama canvas (CAN090) screens.
The ROBE stand was the talk of the show and attracted praise from all who visited.
