We have several different control options that can be tailored to the performance requirements of any given install.
On the roller banners, the single-phase motors can be radio-controlled or hard-wired. Our control systems allow for the movement of individual banners or pre-programmed group configurations in line with the acoustic requirements of different performance types. User interfaces range from simple handheld control for a limited quantity of mechanisms and control options to large touch screen control desks with graphic visualisation of banner positions. Positional control can be achieved by a restricted number of pre-set limits or programmed to a greater number of positions within the % range of its travel. If required, encoders can be fitted to allow movement to be measured and monitored in terms of distance travelled. The motors come with an electromagnetic disc brake as standard; an additional brake can be added to the output for safety if required.
Our Concerto banners typically come with a 3-phase single braked motor and an additional brake on the output. They need to be controlled by a PLC-based system. There is some flexibility of the user interface to suit different sizes and shapes of projects. Encoders can be added for positional readings. We can advise on mcontrol options to suit your budget and the level of sophistication required.
All our banner mechanisms are cycle tested, go through our rigorous quality procedures, and comply with mthe Machinery Directive 2006/42/E.
