J&C Joel exhibit at Prolight + Sound, Frankfurt 2019.
J&C Joel, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of flame-retardant Fabrics and Flooring and established leader in Stage Engineering Services, exhibited at Prolight + Sound 2019 in Frankfurt.
The trade show, which ran for four days from the 2nd to the 5th of April, was a great opportunity to meet a range of suppliers and customers, both new and existing.
The main features on J&C Joel’s stand this year was their brand-new 3m Wool Serge and 3m Velvet.
The upcoming product, 3m Wool Serge, exclusively in the shade black, is the latest development of J&C Joel’s Wool Serge Collection, measuring 3m wide. The IFR heavy-weight (565g/m2) fabric meets the British fire standards, making it perfect for a range of venues across Britain. This product is most effectively used for masking and large-scale perimeter, acoustic drapery.
Similar to 3m Wool Serge, J&C Joel’s 3m Velvet is the latest development of their Velvet Velour Collection, measuring 3m wide. This fantastic new IFR Velvet is exclusively available in the shade black. The product meets British, German and French fire standards, making it perfect for a range of events, including concerts and tours. The 3m Wide Velvet is manufactured with a long upright pile providing a plush, luxurious appearance and a fuller, deeper colour.
J&C Joel also showcased information about their new Stage Engineering capabilities, these included:
The Concerto banner- a self-contained concertina banner system, mounted within a modular framework, which is ideal for venues that require a longer acoustic surface to be deployed.
The Doppio banner- a banner fabricated from a double layer of bonded Wool Serge, which has a sound absorption coefficient of Class A EN ISO 11654:1997. This versatile double-roller banner is available in a diverse colour palette to complement existing interior drapery or colour schemes.
The Rubeus- a versatile winch which has a variety of installation components, customisable to maximise potential in any venue and offers revolutionary Zero Fleet technology.
Finally, the Apollo- a self-contained festoon system, mounted within a modular truss, reducing the number of suspension points. The unit offers safe working loads (SWL) of 500kg, 750kg &1000kg capacities as standard, however, the system is also able to be customised to multiple capacities, speed and drop lines.
Customers and clients that visited the stand reacted positively to the new prototypes and J&C Joel received lots of interest about the new products.
