Challenges & Successes
We got the incredible opportunity, when approached by IMAR Trading, to manufacture and install this intricate and complex drapery package for Katara Towers Hotels’ brand-new cinema room. A challenging component of the project was during the design process, having to ensure that all 56 different bespoke swags were planned and drawn to exact precision so that the manufacturing team could craft these to the correct shape and size.
Additionally, with the multi-layered screen reveal drapes and mechanisms, we needed to ensure all these were designed and integrated correctly so that with the push of a button, the curtains would reveal the cinema screen and supporting projector.
