When the prestigious Sea Containers House underwent a huge refurbishment, J&C Joel manufactured and installed beautiful drapery and perimeter curtains in its roof top auditorium.
During the refurbishment, global advertising and marketing agency Ogilvy and Mather Group UK, relocated their business to the riverside building and incorporated the auditorium into their office space.
The J&C Joel Projects Team worked in conjunction with a specialist solar shading company to supply, produce and install acoustic curtains and tracks for the auditorium.
The main curtains were manufactured in Light Grey Rishworth (380 g/m2) (VEL450) at 50% fullness from J&C Joel’s Pennine IFR Collection. J&C Joel’s expert engineers also installed a motorised ERail track from which they were hung.
A u-shaped continuous walk-along ERail track was also installed along the perimeter of the room and six perimeter curtains, manufactured from Light Grey Rishworth (380 g/m2) (VEL450) at 50% fullness from J&C Joel’s Pennine IFR Collection, were hung from it using Golf Bag Hooks.
The team also installed a walk-along ERail track to divide the room at the top of the seating area. Two Light Grey Rishworth (380 g/m2) (VEL450) at 50% fullness from J&C Joel’s Pennine IFR Collection were installed on the track using Golf Bag Hooks.
