Chain Hoist System

Chain Hoist System

The Chain Hoist Winch System is a common and relatively simple solution, ideal for arena and multi-purpose venues. Multiple chain hoists are rigged in a grid pattern below which a truss system is suspended. The truss system can be either a single length or a grid arrangement. Each chain hoist is then connected back to a control system.

This control system can be a basic up-down control for lifting operations, or it can be more advanced, incorporating monitoring features. For instance, load cells can be used to monitor the loads on each hoist, ensuring safe weight distribution and preventing overloading. Encoders can also be employed to monitor the position of the truss system and its components accurately.
