J&C Joel supplied their bespoke fabric for the set of the musical Ain’t Misbehavin’.
Ain’t Misbehavin’ is ‘A Made in Colchester Production’, performed at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. The show is about the nightclubs of 1920’s Manhattan and celebrates the legendary jazz musician Fats Waller and his energetic, exuberant and effervescent music.
It was important that the fabric provided supported the jazzy, vibrant theme of the production.
Therefore, after careful consideration with the client, J&C Joel chose the fabric combination of gold Glitter Cloth (GLI005) and copper Glitter Cloth (GLI013), along with, old gold Mirror (PVF004) and gold Mirror (PVF006).
This beautiful combination produced a glamorous, luxurious-looking set, as portrayed by the photos taken by Photographer Pamela Raith.
