As premier suppliers of specialist fabrics, J&C Joel was approached to supply several drapes to dress Sheffield’s largest and one of its most popular nightclub’s, Embrace.
J&C Joel helped to put the finishing touches to the five room, 2000 capacity nightclub. All of the fabrics were chosen specifically to compliment the club’s decadent art deco interior and feature lighting.
A large ceiling canopy was constructed from white Voile (VOI001) and hung from the lighting rig in Embrace’s Decuba venue to create a breath-taking focal point which was brought to life by the lighting system. Curtains made from silver Liquid Lame (LL002) were hung behind the bar area which caught the light and added an extravagant touch to the club’s interior.
J&C Joel then supplied lustrous wine Cabaret Sparkle Velvet Velour (VEL070) retro theatre-style curtains which were installed in the club’s entrance stairway, as well as several white Voile (VOI001) banners which were hung from the club’s ceiling.
These extremely lightweight fabrics are perfect for projected lighting effects and produced stunning results.
