J&C Joel transformed Harrow School’s Ryan Theatre when they manufactured and installed new show-stopping Front of House curtains.
The Ryan Theatre at Harrow School boasts a 389 seat auditorium with a large stage, and lift which can create a thrust stage or orchestra pit.
J&C Joel manufactured and installed a complete set of Front of House curtains and re-cabled the existing track within Harrow School’s Ryan Theatre.
The theatre’s Front of House Curtains, which measured 9.8m wide by 5.4m drop with 100% fullness, were manufactured from striking Cognac Countess (VEL022) lined with Bolton Twill.
J&C Joel’s engineers refurbished the existing track by re-cabling it with new 4mm steel cable. They also lubricated all the pulleys, track and master runners before installing the new drapes.
A new DGH20 variable speed track motor was also supplied and installed to motorise the existing track.
