J&C Joel designed, manufactured and installed the drapery masking and rigging system for the latest Dragone show in Wuhan PR China. The Han Theatre houses one of the world’s largest water stages and is built in the stunning “red lantern” cylindrical theatre building in Wuhan.This is the third Dragone job j&C Joel have been involved in, after working  of the House of Dancing Water and Taboo shows in Macau.

J&C Joel supplied the truss, motors and drapes that mask not only the stage area but the entire auditorium. Over 15kms of fabric was used to cover the areas required. The drapes had various drops up to 30m and were manufactured in IFR velvet.

All drapes were operated via a system of motorised chain hoists and truss with a custom designed control system to operate in various configurations.
