The Venetian is a 39-story, casino hotel on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 10,500,000 square-foot (980,000m²) Venetian Macau is modelled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas; The Venetian Macau is the tenth-largest building in the world by floor area. The Venetian Macau is also the second largest casino in the world and the largest single structure hotel building in Asia.
J&C Joel designed, manufactured and installed a stunning 21m x 20m Festoon system in the Venetian Casino in Macau. We were engaged directly by the casino owners to provide the House Curtain, Valance, Legs and Festoon system.
To achieve this, we manufacture the front-of-house drapes from our 520g/m² Heavy Velvet Velour, with each swagged panel measuring 1m in width. Furthermore, with the 50% fullness added to the drop of the drape to produce the swag effect, the result was a visually stunning drape. Consequently, the elegant folds created a luxurious and dramatic front-of-house feature that perfectly complimented the grandeur of the venue.
