J&C Joel was assigned to manufacture and install curtains for the stage in the main assembly hall at Wellesley House School.

Wellesley House School located in Broadstairs, Kent is a co-educational Boarding Preparatory School for children between the ages of 7 and 13. The building was first constructed in 1898 and survived both the First and Second World War. The school was voted Archant Good School of the Year in 2012 and is also featured in the Good Schools Guide and Tatlers School Guide. Drama is taken very seriously at the school with two large musical productions taking place every year.

Marine Countess (VEL010) curtains were manufactured measuring 3.2m wide with a 3.23m drop. The curtains were finished with ecru Sateen Lining (LIN004). J&C Joel manufactured 12 cm of Gold Pluto fringing to the bottom of the Velvet Velour curtains.

The pelmet was manufactured from marine Countess (VEL044) measuring 6.2m wide with a 0.30m drop. The pelmet was hand finished with a gold Mercury appliqué with 5cm of Gold Neptune fringing.
