J&C Joel manufactured and supplied stage drapes for Chris de Burgh’s performance at London’s historic Guildhall.
The artist performed some of his best-known hits from a career spanning more than 35 years’, including Lady in Red and Missing You, at a corporate event in the Guildhall’s 900 seat capacity Great Hall produced by Phil Barker of The Works Technical.
J&C Joel manufactured stage curtains and a valance befitting the splendour of the venue from their luxurious mulberry Countess (VEL006). Spanning 7m and with a drop of 3.5m, the drapes were made with a fullness of 25%, hemmed sides and a chain pocket base.
Two drapes made from J&C Joel’s versatile white 610cm Sharkstooth Gauze (ST026) were also hung at each side of the stage to mask the stage equipment and to act as a projection screen for the event’s lighting.
