Summary
The English National Opera approached J&C Joel to work with TAIT and produce multiple rollers and banners for their rendition of Cutting Little Vixen. The production itself was being produced by the incomparable, award-winning Tom Scutt. Working extremely closely with the designer, we produced a series of prints that symbolised scene changes throughout the show.
These were sewn together to create a continuous 126m long drape, which was then attached to a roller banner. We also discovered a method of attaching/detaching the drape from the drum during the show. We finished off the project by supplying a series of much smaller banners that completed the set.
