Summary

RuPaul’s DragCon has been a staple in the US since 2015 and recently came across the pond to the United Kingdom. DragCon UK, hosted by the one and only RuPaul, is a celebration of some of the world’s most famous drag artists, including contestants from the smash hit reality television show ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’. KD Productions approached J&C Joel to help design and create the backdrop of their exhibition. After discussing ideas with the KD team, we came up with multilayer and multi-level slash curtains, each level consisting of 16 individual slash curtains of varying colours, which had been cut to a template we designed to give the look and colour scheme the client required.
